The new year gives each of us a chance to adopt fresh perspectives and walk new paths. For people living with chronic conditions and pain, this journey can be challenging and deeply enriching. We often set high expectations and big goals that may reach beyond what is currently realistic. It is important to recognize that even the smallest steps are valuable—they let you grow in new ways every day. This is where your steps on a new life path begin: by honoring small, doable actions.
In many cases those small steps are even essential. If you feel it is pointless to start certain changes, you may be holding back under the cover of “it will not work for me.” Change often brings uncertainty, especially when navigating chronic conditions. Our thoughts can lead us into resignation, where we no longer notice the possibilities for change. Steps on a new life path therefore also mean gently noticing inner blocks and releasing them step by step.
We live in a polarized world. It is not about erasing so-called negative feelings, but about making peace with them. When you acknowledge that both positive and challenging emotions are allowed, you create space for an authentic experience of life in all its facets.
The aim is not to get rid of difficult feelings completely, but to create an inner place where you can be at peace with them. In a world that often expects constant positivity, it is a valuable insight that acknowledging and accepting difficult emotions is part of the healing process.
Practicing self-reflection helps us relate openly to our feelings. Whether it is past challenges or current worries, it matters to realize that you can build a new relationship with your emotions and your health.
I invite you to begin this process in a supportive setting for New beginning 2026. For steady support, you can use my weekly healing impulse: the session previously known as Rainbow Time continues Monday to Tuesday, is free to book, and from January carries the new name Help for pain and hopelessness. All I need is your name in the booking or as a comment under my posts. If you prefer more individual support, I offer one-to-one sessions in different formats—short term or over longer periods—so you can sustain your personal development.
